Today we remember all of the men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Men and women who died in uniform fighting for our great nation, fighting for our freedom.
As we spend time with our families today, enjoying the sunny weather at the beach or lake, or simply staying home this holiday, we should take a moment and remember why schools, banks, and the post offices are closed.
Join me in a prayer for our fallen soldiers and those that are still serving.
Pray for protection and strength.
Pray for the families that have lost their soldier and those that have a soldier away from home right now.
Enjoy this holiday, but remember and honor the reason for it.
