Merry Christmas

It has been almost a week already since our Christmas Eve Service celebrating the Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Service. It was so nice seeing new and familiar faces. Pastor Ken called the Children up on stage and read them the Story of Jesus's birth. The children also performed the song, "Away in a Manger."

Please enjoy ABC Kids singing "Away in the Manger"...

The service ended with a Candle light song and prayer.

It is so easy to get caught up in the tinsel and ornaments and gift giving that we can forget the real reason we celebrate Christmas. As we start a new year, I pray that each and every one of us can grow deeper in our walk with Christ and remember that Christmas shouldn't be celebrated only on December 25th. It should be celebrated all year long as we remember that Christ came as a baby wrapped in swaddling cloth in the most vulnerable way humanly possible, JUST AS PROMISED:

God had picked David, a young shepherd boy, from among an entire family of brothers and made him the ruler over Israel. God promised to make David’s name great. In addition, God promised that after David died, God would raise up one of his offspring to establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 2 Samuel 7:8–16
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail. Luke 1:31–37

There are many scripture prophecies and fulfillment of Jesus's Birth, Life, Ministry, Death, and Resurrection in the Bible, those are just a few about Jesus's miraculous birth.

If you would like to know more about our Savior, please reach out to us via: Email, Facebook, Phone, or in Person. We would love to talk with you.

Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
